Agent for controlling noxious life in soil

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled agent effective to root-knot nematodes and Fusarium and free of phytotoxicity to tomato and cucumber, by the use of an acylbenzene compound preparable easily by the reaction of benzene compound with acyl chloride, as an effective component. CONSTITUTION: The titled agent containing acylbenzene derivative of formula (R 1 is lower alkyl, alkenyl or pyridyl, which may have substituent groups; R 2 is halogen or lower alkyl; m is 0W2), e.g. 3,4,-dichloroacetophenone, as an effective component. The acylbenzene compound is mixed with various carriers according to the use, and applied in various form such as emulsion, granules, wettable powders, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
