Ink ribbon lift device for typewriter
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a device which has a simple structure and is endurable, by a method wherein, in a ribbon lift device which changes a lift amount of a ribbon, a pulse motor is used as a drive source and a rocking member of the motor is coupled directly to a lift lever. CONSTITUTION: In a wide carbon 9 in a ribbon cartridge 8, an exposed part of the carbon ribbon 9 is guided by a guide part 11 formed at a lift lever 10, and is positioned in front of a type wheel 7. While a power source is on, phases C and D of a stationary part 4 of a ribbon lift pulse motor are excited, and the left lever secured at a moving part 3 is located at an original position. When a letter key is pressed, the phase D and a phase A at the stationary part 4 are excited, and the lift lever 10 is turned to the first position of conducting printing. When the letter key is further pressed, the phases A, B and further B, C at the stationary part 4 are excited in order, and printing takes place as a ribbon lift amount is changed.
