Toner collector

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To remove a toner which has clogged in the connected part of the carrier pipes, by providing a carrier auxiliary member on the connected part of two carrier pipes for carrying the toner which has been scraped down by the cleaning device. CONSTITUTION:A toner is scraped down from the sensitive body 1 by the blade 5b of the cleaning device 5, and subsequently it is swept down on the bottom of the box 5c by the roll brush 5a. The toner which has been swept down is transferred to the outlet of the pipe 10, furthermore is carried by the helical coil 14 in the carrier pipe 12, is carried to the helical coil 15 in the carrier pipe 13 through the carrier auxiliary members 16, 17 of coil-form and wheel-form, which are provided on the connected part of the carrier pipes, and it is dropped down by almost equal quantity each in the longitudinal direction of the toner feeder 9 from the opening port 18 of wedge-form, which has been formed at the bottom of the carrier pipe 13. In this regard, the carrier pipes 12 and 13 is freely attached and detached.
