Travelling resistance control method and system thereof

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To simplify control method and a system thereof by a method wherein a given coasting speed signal decided by the kind of rolling stock is reproduced and controlled by a speed control loop, whereas, the control load of a dynamometer itself is stored in corresponding to the speed. CONSTITUTION: A switch 50 is changed-over to the output side of a speed control circuit 40 to form a speed control loop and together with this, an electrical signal corresponding to a given test maximum speed is introduced as a command value Vc of the speed control circuit 40. As a result thereof, a DC motor system dynamometer 1 is operated as a driving source and the speed is controlled to the test maximum speed. Next, a switch 80 is changed-over to the memory circuit 71 side, and the coasting speed signal stored thereat is sent to the speed control circuit 40 as command value and at the same time, the switch 50 is changed-over to the speed control circuit 40 side, thus, coasting speed control operation being performed by means of the speed control loop.
