Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To extend the useful life of a photosensitive drum without concentrating the positions to be used, by moving the drum in the shaft direction at each given use time number in driving the drum not to fix the typing areas and the nontyping areas. CONSTITUTION:A recorded sheet number is counted with counter 10, motor 11 for shifting the photosensitive drum 1 in the shaft direction is energized at each given count number, and drum 1 is shifted in the shaft direction at an interval larger than the nontyping width and smaller than the character width with gear 12.
