Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a toner for electrostatic print master plate adapted to high- speed multiple copying, by causing the toner to contain the fluorinecontaining resin of a specific quantity or more calculated in terms S of F. CONSTITUTION: The toner is produced which includes fluorine-containing resin, of 0.5wt% or more calculated in terms S of F, which has the melting point or the softening point of 40°C or more and has the melting viscosity of approximately 5×10 4 poises at 220°C or less, such as the homopolymer of the fluorinecontaining monomer indicated by the expression in the figure, the copolymer of fluorine-containing monomers, and the copolymer of the fluorine-containing monomer and the monomer containing no fluorine. This toner is used together with a carrier for the dry developer as well as the liquid developer dispresed in the liquid. It is desirable that the volume resistivity of toner particles is 10 12 Ωcm or more and the critical surface tension after fixing is 30dynes/cm or less. For example, electrostatic print master plate 1a where inversion image 3 is formed on conductive support material 2a is charged electrically with corona by this toner, and corona charging 6 from the reverse face of copying paper 9 is performed after development by ordinary toner 8, thus transferring toner image 8a.
