Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: A coating for electrodeposition that is prepared by dispersing mica, an inorganic insulator, a water-dispersed varnish, an organic insulator and a nonionic surfactant in water, thus having high dispersion stability and giving coating film with good insulation property. CONSTITUTION: Water is used as a dispersing medium and (A) mica and (B) a water-dispersed varnish are used as a dispersion phase. Further, (C) a nonionic surfactant is added to give the objective coating. The amount of component A is preferably 70W89wt% based on component B. The content of the total nonvolatile components is preferably 5W35wt% of the coating and component C is 0.5W10wt% based on the solid part in the coating. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
