Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To enhance easiness in operation of a photocomposer and quality of a product, by pulling members for leading light shielding curtains in the direction reverse to the core body with pulling bodies engaged with engaging members provided to the 4 corners of a guide frame in order to keep the sheet in a stretched state, and driving a pulse motor. CONSTITUTION: Light shielding curtain 10 are called optionally X, X', Y, Y', and when curtain X is wanted to open to the position of 28.5cm from the center of an extremely thin transparent plate for placing an original, numerical buttons provided to the right side of preset counter are pushed as follows: 2→8→.→5 following X=, that number is indicated on column X of upper indication window 24, and a pulse motor is rotated in the given direction by a given quantity, thus permitting curtain X to be set on the position of 28.5cm from the center. When the curtain is wanted to fully open, the buttons are operated in the following order: X→=→fully open. In the cases of the other curtains X', Y, Y', similar operations are made, thus permitting easiness in operation of photocomposition and its product quality to be enhanced.
