Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the device, reduce the variance of the performance and precision and stabilize the quality thereof by a method wherein a rotary shaft is supported by a pair of ball bearings and between the supports a magnet-field type motor and a detecting mechanism, containing a phase-detecting mechanism, are provided monolithically. CONSTITUTION:The rotary shaft 2 is supported by the shield-type ball bearings 11 and 12 with flanges which are pressed in above and below the shaft and the outside- wheel diameters D1 and D3 of which are in such relations with the diameters d2 and d3 of a rotor magnet 8 or balance rings 9 and 10 as D1>d2>D3. On the outer- peripheral part of the rotor magnet 8 are provided a pair of hole elements 42 and 42' for detecting a position and a hole element for detecting the velocity, which have slight apertures from the outer-peripheral part and a distance of D2/2 or more from the center of the shaft and are set on a position and velocity detecting ring 41. In this way, a stator is constituted in such a manner that a pair of ball bearings are supported concentrically two members, while a rotor is united so that the entire components of the rotor is in the state of dynamic balance.
