Resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: A resin with improved slipperiness, blocking property, hot tack and heat sealability, which comprises a copolymer composed of ethylene and an ion- crosslinked α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, and a polyamide resin. CONSTITUTION: A composition, comprising (A) 95W20pts.wt. of an ion-crosslinked copolymer, which is composed of ethylene and an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, partially or completely crosslinked with a metal ion, and, when occasion demands, an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, and containes components of formulas IWIV (wherein R 1 is H or CH 3 ; R 2 is a 1W6C alkyl; M is a metal where n is 1, 2 or 3), respectively, in (a), (b), (c) and (d) moles, where (a), (b), (c) and (d) satisfy the relationships represented by VWVII, and (B) 5W80pts.wt. of a polyamide resin of melting point ≤160°.
