Preparation of transmission screen

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible not to cause a color change even if viewers move horizontally, by properly deciding the sectional shape of a lenticular lens of one element. CONSTITUTION:A Fresnel lens 6 of pitch 0.5mm. is provided on one surface of a transparent polymethyl methacrylate base material 5 which has a refractive index of 1.492, and a lenticular lens 7 of pitch 0.75mm. is provided on the other surface. When the ratio of the pitch of the lenticular lens 7 to the pitch of the Fresnel lens 6 is made 1:1.5 or 1.5:1 or so, since moires are a few, this method is ideal. The linear part 9 and the circular part 10 which are symmetrical centering around the center line of the pitch part 8 are provided on the surface of the lenticular lens 7.
