Lead frame for fluorescent indicator

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process and to improve the accuracy, by using a lead frame where a frame body, a plurality of lead wires extending from said frame body and 7-segment indicating elements formed at the other end of said lead wires are integrated. CONSTITUTION:Fe-Ni alloy board having thermal expansion factor approximate with that of glass is applied with photoetching, to produce a lead frame 1 where a frame body 1a, lead wire 1b, and 7-segment indicating element 1c connected to the tip of the lead wire 1b are integrated. After coating a fluorescent material layer on the 7-segment indicating element 1c, it is encapsulated in a glass bulb. Thereafter the frame body 1a is cut and removed.
