Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To store sheets of paper into a predetermined container bin by providing an auxiliary container bin with a paper feeding out means for easily and accurately feeding out sheets of paper contained in the auxiliary container bin. CONSTITUTION: During a normal opeation of a collator, a sheet of paper 3 is fed onto a transporting belt 11. If a paper jamming should occur at the transporting belt 11, a deflecting means 7 and so on, a jamming signal will be generated to stop another transporting belt 13 and also to stop rotation of an intermediate roller 12. Simultaneously, a change-over guide plate 23 is pivoted to an operative positin so that sheets of paper fed into the collator 2 are guided by the change-over guide plate 23 to a guide plate 25 and then fed into an auxiliary container bin 20 by a pair of feed rollers 24. Accordingly, sheets of paper successively fed into the collator after occurrence of a jamming are fed into the auxiliary container bin 20 one after another. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
