Device for setting parts in row and feeding them
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To keep the quantity of parts on a conveyor at optimum, by providing a conveyor for setting the parts in a row, at the end of a parts feed conveyor so that the former conveyor extends perpendicularly to the latter and by controlling the quantity of the fed to the row-setting conveyor. CONSTITUTION: Parts 1 to be fed are put by a necessary number on a feed conveyor 12 and sequentially sent out along a transfer plate 13 onto a conveyor 11 which is laid perpendicularly to the feed conveyor 12 to set the parts in a row. When some parts are put on the conveyor 11, light emitted from parts detectors 14, 15 is intercepted to generate a parts detection signal. The conveyor 12 is stopped by the signal to temporarily stop feeding the part 1 onto the conveyor 12. The parts 1 on the conveyor 11 proceed to toward a take-out port 6 and are set in a row by a row-setting guide 3. Since a movable guide 4 has a spring property, a plurality of parts 1 are prevented from jamming at the row-setting guide 3. When the parts 1 on the conveyor 11 are disposed of, the detection signal is eliminated to resume running the conveyor 12 to set following parts in a row and feed them. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
