Supercharger for fuel injection type engine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To enable to effect a correct fuel control always by a method wherein an air volume equivalent to a secondary air volume can be supplied bypassing an air volume detector in an engine wherein a part of supercharging air is supplied to an exhaust system thereof as the secondary air. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injecting device 17 is provided at downstream of a throttle valve 16 provided in a main suction air passageway 14 communicating with a main suction port 3 of an engine E and the device 17 is controlled by a computer A in accordance with a detecting signal of an air volume detector 12. A supercharging air passageway 13 branched from the main suction air passageway 14 at downstream of the air volume detector 12 is provided and a supercharger 15 is interposed on the way of the passageway 13. A bypass passageway 18 bypassing the air volume detector 12 is connected to upper stream of the supercharger 15 on the supercharging air passageway 13 while a secondary air supplying passageway 21 supplying the secondary air to an exhaust passageway 20 is connected to downstream of the supercharger 15. A control valve 26 cooperating with a secondary air flow detector 24 is provided on the said bypassing passageway 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
