Composite fiber and spinneret for composite spinning

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: A composit fiber having various applications, manufacturable with a high operating efficiency, and comprising polymers A and B, which are joined in the form of a bimetal so as to be exposed partly to the surface of the fiber, and divided by polymer C into plural regions in the symmetry of rotation. CONSTITUTION: A composite fiber comprising three kinds of polymers A, B and C, which are joined in the fiber axis direction, all exposed to the fiber surface, and can be splitted into various shapes. The polymers A and B are joined in the form of a bimetal so as to be exposed partly to the surface, and the bimetal components are divided by the polymer component C into plural regions in the position of symmetry of rotation. The shapes of the components are stable and provide a high-quality product without unevenness in the fiber axis direction with a high productivity. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
