Vaporization of liquid
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To raise the speed of vaporization by an inexpensive and simplified method in which a liquid is vaporized while blowing an inert or reductive gas into the liquid. CONSTITUTION: A liquid is vaporized while blowing into the liquid an inert or reductive gas, e.g., Ar, H 2 , a mixture of N 2 and H 2 , etc., through the gas-blowing port 5 provided to the vaporizing container 1, where the gas blown into the liquid 2 turns bubbles, goes up in the liquid 2 while gradually expanding, and lastly enters from the liquid surface into a space. During the period, the liquid 2 in and around the bubbles is moved upwards with the rise of the bubbles and wholly stirred. Thus, by the stirring effect and destroying effect on impurities and formed substance layer on the surface of the liquid of the bubles, fresh surface of the liquid becomes exposed to the ambient atmosphere and therefore, the amount of vaporization of the liquid is increased.
