Parts feeding assembler

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make adaption to assemblies of parts which are prone to be modified in their design shapes and assemblies in various types in middle or small amount of production in such a way that parts are fed one by one piece through vibration feeders without being restrained by their posture, and then they are constituted to be assembled after settling the postures of the parts. CONSTITUTION: This assembler is installed to multiple-stage vibration feeders 12 to separate and feed one piece only of the parts, separating units 13, conveying chutes 14 and the ends of those chutes 14 with provision of a parts judging mechanism 16 to judge the types and postures of the parts positioned by the mechanism 15, a parts postures change-over mechanism 17 to change over the parts positioned by the mechanism 15 according to judging results of the mechanism 16 and a mechanism 18 to assemble the parts at the chassis 10 on a conveyor 9. Thus, they can be adapt?ed to assemblies to parts which are to have plenty of modifications in their design shapes and assembiles in various types in middle or samll amount of production.
