Polyester resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: A resin composition having improved impact resistance and weather resistance, obtained by adding a specific olefin-unsaturated acid glycidyl ester copolymer and a bisamide compound to polybutylene terephthalate. CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. polybutylene terephthalate, preferably having a relative viscosity at 25°C in 0.5wt% o-chlorophenol solution 1.2W1.8 is blended with 0.1W 100pts.wt. olefin copolymer(copolymerization amount is preferably 1W50mol%) consisting of an α-olefin and an α,β-unsaturated acid glycidyl ester shown by the formula I (R is H or lower alkyl), and 0.001W10pts.wt. at least one bisamide compound (preferably ethylene bisstearic acid amide, etc.) shown by the formulas IIWIV (R 1 is 1W20C hydrocarbon; R 2 WR 6 are 1W30C hydrocarbon) in molten state.
