Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To exercise the best control over tape tension by tape run modes, by providing a servo circuit with a tension error detecting circuit and then by supplying a tape tension detection output. CONSTITUTION: Phase compensating circuit 21 consisting of resistors 22 and 23 and capacitor 24 of large capacity is supplied with a tape tension detection signal from input terminal t 1 by way of change over switch SW 1 . While the detecting circuit is in normal operation, circuit 21 supplies a tape tension detection output to level comparator 25 after normal phase compensation, but once the detecting circuit is not in operation, a voltage from initial-value voltage generating source 35 is applied to capacitor 24 by way of resistor 23 to set a voltage at the output terminal of circuit 21 to a level determined by the initial value of generating source 35. Even at the 1st moment switches SW 1 and SW 2 turn on simultaneously through the operation of the detecting circuit, comparator 25 obtains the fixed voltage. Then, the initial-value voltage is so set that while the torque is larger for the take-up motor, it is smaller for the supply motor. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
