Calorimeter for weighing of food

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To accurately display effective calorie by correcting the gross calorie calculated from the weight of food and the calorie per unit weight of food with an absorption coefficient corresponding to the physical standard of a person who takes that food. CONSTITUTION: A gross calorie calculating section 3 calculates the gross calorie from the output of a balance 1 and the output of a food condition setting section 2. A physical standard discriminator 4 outputs the coefficient of absorption corresponding to the physical standard of a person who takes the food weighed with the balance 1 based on the input data of the weight, height ans age of that person. A multiplier 5 multiplies the gross calorie which is the output of the gross calorie calculating section 3 by the coefficient which is the output of the physical standard discriminator 4, to correct the calorie of the food unit.
