Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: In an open/closure of a valve in a water-charging pipe for a water tank, to automatically open and close the valve depending on the water level in the water tank by attracting iron balls provided in the valve member by a magnet installed in a float. CONSTITUTION: A float 9 is slidably mounted on the outer periphery of an outer cylinder 2, which is fixed in the vicinity of an edge of a water-charging pipe 1. In the float 9, a permanent magnet 12 is disposed to slidably contact the outer periphery of the outer cylinder. When the float 9 is placed at the lower end of the outer cylinder 2, the magnet 12 attracts iron balls 6, 7 in the outer cylinder 2 to open a drain path 4 and to pour water therethrough. When the water level goes up, the float 9 is raised atrracting the iron balls 6, 7. Then, the small ball 7 drops first by its stopper 8 to close a small drainage 5 and, then, the large ball 6 drops upon its contact with the lower end of the pipe 1 to close the drainage 4 to stop the charging of water. While, when the water level goes down, the float 9 goes down and attracts the small ball 7. Then, the drainage 5 is opened to discharge the water. After that, the large ball 6 is attracted by the magnet 12 to resume the charging of water. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
