Linear pulse motor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a high resolution for improvement of efficiency, by providing a moving element composed by arranging horizontally positioned U-shape steel cores, which are equipped with exciting windings, through permanent magnets at particular intervals, and by deviating pitches of 2-raw teeth on passage by particular values. CONSTITUTION:A moving element 2 is formed in such a manner that horizontally positioned U-shape steel cores 21 through 25, which are equipped with 2 field legs and also with exciting windings 31 through 35 in spaces among the field legs, are provided, and permanent magnets 40, 41-70, 71 are arranged in spaces among the adjoining field legs in such a manner that their polarities become opposite to one another alternately and that, at the same time, intervals among the field legs with respect to pitch P of teeth become (N+ or -n/m).P. (N: an integer, m: number of horizontally positioned U-shape steel cores, n: an integer being m>n). A passage 1 is provided with 2 rows of teeth 11 and 12 in opposition to teeth of the field legs, and the teeth 11 and 12 are to be deviated by P/2. When current is made to pass through the exciting windings 31-35 in turn in this condition, the moving element 2 is shifted by P.n/m, and if sequence and direction of passing of current are appropriately selected, the moving element 2 can be shifted by P.n/2m.
