Optical information recording method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To realize the recording of the information by the low-output semiconductor laser, by setting the irradiation time to 10ns or more and 200ns or less and thus securing the pulse oscillation for the semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION: The laser must be irradiated so as to reduce as much as possible the Joule heat loss and in order to record the information by the low-output laser. In this connection, the relation is obtained experimentally between the laser irradiation time and the laser power necessary to form the pit. As a result, the conditions under which the laser irradiation time is set to 10W200ns is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
