Electronic equipment with printing device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate the transportation of the equipment by a method wherein a holder for roll-form recording paper and a guide plate guiding the printed recording paper are provided in one member and the member is fitted erectably inside the main body of the equipment so that it can be housed in the main body. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard 5 and an indicator 6 are provided on the upper surface of the main body 4 of an apparatus such as an electronic desk computer, while a printing device 7 being provided inside thereof. An opening 8 is formed in the upper surface of the main body 4. Moreover, a member 9 having a flat-plate part and a L-shaped forked part projected downward from both ends of the flat-plate part is provided, the flat-plate part serving as a guide plate part 10 for printed recording paper, while the forked part serving as a holder part 11 for roll-form recording paper. On the shorter sides of the holder part 11 are provided a pair of supporting- pin parts 12 projected outward, which are inserted rotatably into holes 14 made in the side walls 13 in the lower part of the opening 8 of the main body, and thus the member 8 is constituted so as to be erected through the opening 8.
