Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it easy to see characters and the like just after printing by providing a printing head in a specified place near printing paper discharging port of an outside case. CONSTITUTION:In the wire dot type printer employed for a small-sized electronic equipment, the printing head 3 is provided near the printing paper discharging port 2, just under the outside case 1 and inside (on the back side) of the printing paper P. Moreover, a thin plate-form receiver 6 is attached to the back surface of the outside case 1 facing oppositely to the printing head 3, and an ink ribbon 5 and a meshlike spacer 7 are placed between the receiver 6 and the front surface of the printing paper P. The spacer 7 plays a role to separate the ink ribbon 5 and the paper P so that ink may not stick to the part of paper on which printing is not intended.
