Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a drive control of an ink mist device in a simple way, by a method wherein multineedle electrodes are positioned at the back of a printing paper of the ink mist printing device, and each electrode is drive-controlled time-systematically. CONSTITUTION:Multineedle electrodes 101, 102, ..., 10n, located at equivalent pitches to aperture pitches of an aperture board 2, are positioned facing and opposite to the respective aperture. Said multineedle electrodes 101, 102, ..., 10n are connected to power sources having negative potential through control dircuits 111, 112, ..., 11n, respectively. A proper voltage V is applied to gate electrodes 2a and 2b at the aperture board 2, and thereby an ion amount passing through the apertures can be controlled. With control signals applied to the control circuits connected to the multineedle electrodes positoned facing and opposite to the apertures in synchronism with the gate voltag, a desired print is printed on a paper.
