Copying machine having reducing copy function

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable the selection of magnification of three types or more, and compact and easy adjustment with reducing function, by locating the light axis of in- mirror lens to the original abliquely. CONSTITUTION:The light axis of the in-mirror lens 4 having focal length (f) is located to the surface of the original platen 1 with an angle PSI. At the copy of the unmagnification, the in-mirror lens 4 is located so that the incident angle of the main light from the original is theta. Furhter, in the case of reducing copy with ratio gamma, the in-mirror lens 4 is displaced by l=(1-gamma)f toward the lens light axis and by equation I orthogonal to the lens light axis. Thus, the selection of three or more magnification is possible, sufficient redueing function is given, and desk top type small-sized machine can be realized.
