Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the noise driving-in precision by sweeping a pulse, applied to a capstan motor for intermittent drive, slowly from a small enough width for the motor not to turn up to a width large enough for the motor to turn sufficiently. CONSTITUTION:On arrival of still command (f), delay is provided until a run in the previous mode stops and then the 1st intermittent driving pulse is outputted. Next, a delay time is set to a timer built in microcompouter 9. In this state, whether a noise band has been driven into a vertical blanking interval or not is judged, and when not, the next driving pulse of wide width is generated to drive capstant motor 6, carrying on dropout detection. This operation is repeated several times and when the noise band is driven into the vertical blanking interval, motor 6 is stopped.
