Television with keyboard

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it easy to select either of functions of an electronic desk-top calculator and television by switching by providing a keyboard in a television set and by displaying calculations, etc., with the keyboard drawn out while receiving a broadcast with the keyboard set in the television set. CONSTITUTION:The television is provided with keyboard KB that can freely be stored in the set and drawn out. Detection part SW detects whether keyboard KB is stored or drawn out and it is positioned at terminal J2 in the storage state or terminal J1 in the drawn-out state. With one of channel selection buttons C1-C4 assigned, one of flip-flop F1-F4 is set. When keyboard KB is stored (in broadcast reception), the states of the said F1-F4 are supplied to television set TV through gates G1-G4 to assign a channel, but when keyboard KB is drawn out (in calculation display), C2 (free channel) is selected to display calculation results of CPU on the television screen.
