Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable vertical excavation by providing a swing support member between a boom support and the boom and adjusting said member with the help of a hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:One end of hydraulic cylinder 12 which turns swing support member 10 inside the vertical surface is axially mounted at the edge 30 of the said swing support member 10. The other end of the hydraulic cylinder 12 is axially mounted on the boom 3. On the other edge of the swing support member 10, a vertical shaft 16 is mounted and the arm support 9 is axially mounted in such manner that it may swing inside the horizontal plane around the said vertical shaft 16. Consequently, even when the boom 3 is turned up by stretching out the boom cylinder 4, it is possible to vertically hold the vertical shaft 16 mouned on the swing support member 10 by adjusting the hydraulic cylinder 12. In addition, even if the arm support 9 is turned to the right and the left with the vertical shaft 16 as a fulcrum, the arm and the bucket can be kept inside the same vertical plane.
