Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To supply a stable electric power from inverter devices even when one inverter device malfunctions and a redundant operation is eliminated by operating a remaining inverter device synchronously with a commercial preliminary power source and executing a redundant operation with the commercial preliminary power source as a backup. CONSTITUTION:Two inverter devices 10, 13 are normally operated in parallel, and are operated with a signal from a crystal oscillator 16. When on inverter 13 malfunctions, a defect detector circuit 9 of the inverter device 13 operates to turn off the switching circuit 4 of the inverter device 13 and to also feed a signal to the inverter device 10. Thus, the inverter device 10 switches to a commercial synchronizing circuit 17 from a crystal oscillator 16 in a switching circuit 20 to execute a commercial synchronizing operation therein.
