Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate the adjustment of an acceleration distance and attain stable actuator performance, by swingably supporting a back stopper on a magnet near a line extending through the center of swing of an armature and perpendicularly intersecting an attraction surface. CONSTITUTION: The back stopper 14 is swingably supported on a back stop pin 17 near a line extending through the center of an armature pin 13 at the swingably supported part of an armature 8. The back stop pin 17 is tightly fitted in the hole of a magnet 9. The bottom of the side of the back stopper 14 opposite the other side in contact with the armature 8 is attached with an adjusting screw 15, a locking nut 16 and a spring 18 to the magnet 11. The acceleration distance of the armature can be adjusted by rotating the adjusting screw 15 or the locking nut 16, without changing the air gap between the armature 8 and the attraction surface 11.
