Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To smooth the reduction and replenishment of powder and granule and perform good vulcanization of extrudate by connecting the powder and granule recovering port of a powder and granule removing apparatus to the inflow ducts of cyclones and disposing discharging means of powder and granule to a fluidized bed vulcanizing vessel to the exhaust port of the cyclone. CONSTITUTION: In the apparatus of reducing the powder and glanule recovered in the powder and granule removing device 7 connected to a fluidized bed vulcanizing vessel 1 for extrudate, double cyclones 11, 12 are provided above the powder and granule replenishing place of the vulcanizing vessel 1, and the powder and granule recovering port 9 of said device 7 is connected via a duct 19 to the inflow port 18 of the suction side cyclone. A damper 22 is mounted to the powder and granule exhaust port 28 of the cyclone 11 and the damper 22 is turned by the deposition of a predetermined amount of power and granule so that the powder and granule is discharged intermittently into the vulcanization vessel 1. The discharge side cyclone 12 is of the similar constitution. This apparatus makes the reduction of the powder and granule smoother as compared to conventional pressure-feed method and makes possible good vulcanization. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
