Printing hammer mechanism

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the printing hammer mechanism with high printing speed by a method wherein the sectional area of a part becoming the magnetic path of the printing hammer is made larger than that of the other part and thereby the natural frequency of the printing hammer is increased. CONSTITUTION: A rectangular plate spring 15 wherein the thickness of the part 10 on the free-end side which becomes the path of a magnetic flux and is near to yokes 2 and 3 is larger than that of the other part 11 is employed. So as to equalize a spring constant to the one of a printing hammer so far used, the length of the part 11 is needed to be shortened. Thus, the mass of the printing hammer 14 is lessened considerably and the natural frequency is increased, whereby the printing speed can be increased. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
