Iron core for small transformer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the area on which a small transformer is mounted and to facilitate the wire winding work, by constituting an iron core, by a central leg whose cross section crossing the direction to the leg center at a right angle is square, four outer legs which oppose each side of said square, and a yoke which connects the central leg and the outer legs. CONSTITUTION:The shape of an iron core 1 is the same as that of iron core 2. The iron core 1 is constituted by a central leg 1a whose cross section crossing the direction to the leg center at a right angle is square, four outer legs 1b which oppose each side of said square, and a yoke 1c which connects the central leg 1a and the outer legs 1b. The iron core 2 also has the same constitution. Cut out portions 1d are provided between the outer legs 1b by cutting out a portion of said yoke 1c. The cut out portions 1d are coupled with a bobbin implanting portion which is incorporated with a bobbin 3 as one body, a coil 4 is wound around the bobbin 3, and an insulating material 5 is further wound. Extruded portions 3a are formed at one flange of the bobbin 3, terminal pins 6 are implanted to said extruded portions 3a, thereby the area on which a small transformer is mounted is made small, and the bobbin 3 around which the coil 4 is wound can be readily inserted.
