Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve productivity of the heat exchanger, by shaping a fin to have a cut line which is symmetrical on the opposite sides of the center along the width of the fin, and thereby saving material used at a corner portion of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: The fin 8a having an oblique cut line to the length of heat exchanger 8 is shaped such that the cut line is symmetrical on the opposite sides of the center along the width of fin 8a. Heat exchanger 8 consists of the fin 8a having at one end thereof a cut line oblique to the length of the fin 8a and pipes 8b disposed in a zigzagged manner on the fin 8a and extended perpendicularly through the fin 8a. This heat exchanger 8 is disposed at the back of suction port 2a formed in an ornamental cover 2 and on the suction side of circulation fan 3. By thus arranging the heat exchanger 8, the cut line at one end along the length of the fin 8a is symmetrical on the opposite sides of the center along the width of the fin 8a, so that corner portion 4c can be used for other heat exchanger 8 without wasting the same. Therefore, it is enabled to improve productivity of heat exchangers and to save material by an amount corresponding to a length (c) shown in the drawing in manufacturing two heat exchangers 8.
