Disk memory control system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to exercise strict control over disk utilization while maintaining the secrecy of contents by permitting the disk utilization by collating the combination of individual discrimination information with disk discrimination information with registration discrimination information. CONSTITUTION:User discrimination information IDm is input from input unit 1 and then optical disk 10 to be used is set in the optical disk memory unit to input disk information IDd automatically through reader 2. Comparison collator 5 compares and collates information on the combination of this information IDm with IDd with information IDr registered in memory unit 4. Through this collation operation, items of information IDr and IDd are compared to judge identity and then items of information IDr and IDm are decided. When the former decision result shows acceptance and the latter shows rejection, disk 10 is open, but when the both shows acceptance, the registered user only is permitted to use the disk. The decision results are supplied to disk memory drive system 7, which is made ready for operating and information on this is input to signal input circuit 8 to supply input discrimination information to recorder 9, which displays it.
