Light beacon
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To maintain a light at a predetermined position in a light beacon to which electricity is supplied from land, by stringing a lighting cable from land through the seabed to the light along a supporting mechanism thereof. CONSTITUTION: A column body 8 is provided on the outside with a projecting streak 10 which engages a groove 11' of a guide 11 provided inside a hollow column body 1, so that the column body 8 can slide on the column body 1 without pivoting thereabout. A maritime float 7 can be slanted since it is connected to the column body 8 by a ring 7' other than a direct connection system. On each outer periphery of the hollow column body 1 and maritime float 2 is strung a lighting cable 15 which supplies electricity from land. Since the column body 8 is inserted into the hollow column body 1 not to disengage therefrom, the maritime float 7, i.e. light 6 is maintained at a predetermined position without departing therefrom.
