Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To permit accurate knowing of the operating state of the functions of a camera and permit prompt remedying against abnormal state by the simple constitution of expressing the operating state of the functions of the camera in three modes, lighting, flickering and putting out. CONSTITUTION: This camera permits visual recognition of the operating state of the functions at a glance through a view finder, wherein display windows 1W5 displaying the operating state of various functions of the camera are provided in the upper part of a view finder mask 16 and display windows 6W10 in the lower part; moreover, a display window 11 is provided to the lateral part. In the respective display windows 1W11, the symbols on the screen are luminously displayed by the light emitting diode chips disposed around the finder frame and these light, flicker or put out according to the operating state of the functions.
