Paper dirt preventive equipment

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent a paper dirt for printing by mounting a separator supporting body having a construction wherein the top end of the supporting body projects in the running direction of the paper going beyond the direction of an ink ribbon and preventing the contact of the ribbon with the printing paper. CONSTITUTION: A printer is consisted of a hammer 1, printing paper 3, ink ribbon 5 and a printing type transfer 6. A supporter 9 of the separator 4 is fixed to an anvil 7 of the printer, and a printing paper 3 is transferred in a direction shown with an arrow between a paper guide 2 and the separator 4. The top end of the supporter 9 is allowed to project in the running direction of the paper 3 going beyond the running direction of the ink ribbon 5 from a side of the ribbon 5, and prevents the breaking and bending of the separator abutting the top end thereof to the separator 4 together with maintaining a position of the separator constant, holding the distance between printing paper 3 and ribbon 5 at constant, thereby lowering the direct contact of the ribbon 5 with the printing paper 3 and decreasing the dirt of the paper.
