Retrieving device for picture information

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: Not only to facilitate an easy change of the algorism such as the keyboard or the like but simplify the retrieving process for the retrieving device as a whole, by storing the picture information and the keyword into the memory mediums which are different physically. CONSTITUTION: The large-capacity picture filing device 1 which stores not only a number of picture information but the address information and can not be rewritten is provided, along with auxiliary memory device 2 (such as the floppy disk) which can be rewritten and stores the address data of device 1 as well as the retrieval data forming a pair with the address data and consisting of one unit or several units of the keywords. With supply 3 of a keyword, e.g., the opening No., control unit 4 gives access to device 2 to obtain the address of device 1 and at the same time uses the obtained address to give access to device 1.
