Method of preparing rubber pellets having lower adhesion

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the blocklike coagulation of pellects during the storage without damage of the original rubber properties by covering the pellets of an olefin copolymer rubber with ethylene wax. CONSTITUTION: An olefin copilymer rubber (preferably, a copolymer rubber or the like consisted of ethylene and α-olefin of C 3-10 ) is covered with polyethylene wax having 0.03W0.3dl/g, preferably 0.08W0.23dl/g of a intrinsic viscosity (in decalin at 135°C), and a softening point more than 80°C, preferably by treating it with an aqueous dispersant containing 1W20% of said wax by weight.
