Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform good and high speed recording without slackening recording paper and without any unnecessary margin at the leading end with simple constitution by controlling the cutter, recording section and rollers etc. of the predetermined arrangement according to the arrive of the recording paper at the predetermined positions. CONSTITUTION:When the leading end of a recording paper roll let off by let-off rollers KR1 etc. arrives right behind the 1st feed roller FR1 via a cutter C and is detected by a detector S1, the supply pulses to a stepping motor M1 of high mode are counted by a counter. The driving of the roller FR1 and a back up roller is controlled by the breaking of the supply of the driving force to the roller KR1 etc. via the counter and the switching to recording mode by the decrease in the speed of the motor M1 according to the arrival of the leading end of the roll paper 1 at the position Y right behind the recording section B, and the roll paper 1 thus prevented from slacking undergoes recording without forming any margin in the leading end thereof. The same holds true of controlling of the 2nd feed roll FR2, tension roll TR, cutter C for fixed size cutting, etc., thus the good and high speed recording is performed with the simple constitution.
