Driving device for reach type industrial vehicle

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To drive through a planetary-gear reduction gearing the driving wheel of a reach type industrial vehicle wherein the driving an steering are conducted by the sane wheel, and to facilitate the operation of the operator. CONSTITUTION: The power of a motor 1 fitted to a support frame 2 is transmitted to a sun gear 8 which is integral with a driving shaft 9. The rotation of a pinion cage 10 wherein a ring gear 25 is fixed to a carrier 3 is transmitted to a bevel gear 6b through a bevel gear 6a integral with the shaft 27, and further transmitted to driving wheels 4 through an axle 22. The carrier 3 is rotated relatively to the support frame 2 by a separately arranged driving device, whereby it contributes to the steering function. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
