Adhesive composition for laminate
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To provide titled adhesive compsn. which exhibits high flexibility after curing, and is an electron beam-curable type and suitable for the bonding of laminating films for food or chemicals packing, by a method wherein a polyvinyl acetate is blended with a prepolymer having a polymerizable unsaturated gp. CONSTITUTION: 1W45wt% of a polyvinyl acetate (i) and, if necessary, 1W70wt% of a vinyl monomer (ii) (e.g. styrene, acrylic ester) are blended with the balance of a prepolymer (iii) having a free-radical polymerizable unsaturated gp. (e.g. an unsaturated polyester resin, an acrylic-modified epoxy resin) to obtain an adhesive. Said adhesive is coated on a base film by a gravure coating method, etc. The base film is laminated with a film which is of the same kind or of a different kind. Alternatively, the base film is laminated with a film by extruding a resin. Then the resulting laminate is irradiated with electron beam to obtain a laminated film. EFFECT: There can be obtd. an odorless laminated film without remaining a solvent between bonded films. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
