Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provide an arrangement for a water cock, capable of controlling the temperature of hot water to a desired level over a wide range only through operation of a flow regulator provided in a hot-water channel, by providing a pressure regulator in a water channel, and a venturi, a venturi bypass circuit and said flow regulator in the hot-water channel, respectively. CONSTITUTION: When a stopcock 4 is closed, water and hot water are already carried to a mixing section 3. Therefore, when the stopcock 4 is opened, hot water of a required temperature is supplied from a shower tap or ordinary hot-water supply tap via hot-water a supplying circuit 5 and a selector cock 8. Here, if restriction of a flow controller 14 is fixed at a position and the temperature of hot water is set in an ordinary temperature range, a venturi circuit 12 is kept closed, so that water is passed only through a bypass circuit 1. The flow rate of hot water is controlled by the pressure on the upstream side of a regulator 10, whereas that of water is controlled by a pressure regulator 15 operation of which is controlled by a pressure in a back-pressure chamber 20 to which a venturi pressure in a venturi circuit 12 is transmitted. By thus controlling the flow regulator 13, it is enabled to control the temperature of hot water supplied at a desired temperature level. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
