Inductive radio system
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To increase the S/N of the inductive radio communication, by using the center line laid along the running path of the travelling object for the common flyback line and then providing the 8-shaped transmitting cross-type loop antenna and the receiving bar-type coil antenna including the magnetic core each to the travelling object. CONSTITUTION:Transmitter/receiver 1 of the fixed station is connected to parallel 3-wire-type inductive lines 3-5 along the locus of the travelling object. The travelling object incorporates bar-type antenna 5 including the magnetic core, receiver 6, 8- shaped cross-type loop antanna 7 and transmitter 8 each. The centers of antennas 5 and 7 are set right above inductive line 3 and then shift in parallel to the surfaces of inductive lines 2-4. When the high frequency current is flowed to antenna 7 from transmitter 8, the magnetic flux generated at antenna 7 is coupled well to the inductive line and is not coupled to antenna 5. And with supply of the transmitting current to the inductive line from transmitter/receiver 1, the horizontal magnetic flux sent from line 3 crossing antenna 5 is strengthened by the magnetic fluxes from lines 2 and 4. As a result, not only the transmitting power of the travelling object but the receiving level can be increased, thus enhancing the quality of communication.
