Method of mounting pilot-type four-way solenoid valve
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate the mounting and removal of a pilot solenoid valve, by attaching a relaying terminal unit to one side of the solenoid valve body and by inserting the pins of the pilot solenoid valve into the sockets of the relaying terminal unit to carry out electric connection. CONSTITUTION: A relaying terminal unit 6 is attached to the top of a main body 1. The relaying terminal unit 6 has a protruded main body 60 of plastic. Three metal pins 62a, 62b, 62c, which are inserted into a relaying socket 8, are secured on the central projection of the body 60 of the unit 6. Socket portions 63, 63a are provided at both the sides of the central projection of the body 60. The socket portions 63, 63a have holes 65 for main body fitting screws 65 and holes 66, 67 into which the pins of a pilot solenoid valve 7 are inserted. The pilot solenoid valve 7 and the relaying socket 8 are fitted on the relaying terminal unit 6 so that the valve 7 and the socket 8 are electrically connected to each other.
