Structure of valve which automatically close induced by vibration
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled valve which automatically close being influenced by vibration such as earthquake or the like by a method wherein a pin to fix a valve lever at the open position and a spring to operate the valve to the closed position constitute the valve. CONSTITUTION: After a weight 9 is pulled up to a weight receiving part 10 and the lever 2 is turned against the force of a spring 6 to the open position, the pin 3 is inserted into a pin hole 4 with a handle 12. Consequently the valve is fixed at the open position. When the valve feels vibration, the weight 9 falls into a weight saucer 14 to pull up the pin 3 from the pin hole 4 through a lever 11 by the load applied on the saucer under the falling weight. Then the valve lever 2 is turned by the force of the spring 6 to the closed position to close the valve. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
